The Society of 1921 Gala

The Society of 1921 Gala recognizes and honors those donors who give $1,250 or more in one year. These donors are invited to an event that features distinguished speakers, such as former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, President and Mrs. George Bush and former anchorman Tom Brokaw, among others. These dignitaries spend a day touring the hospital and then speak to Foundation contributors during an evening gala. The 2008 Society of 1921 Gala featured baseball great Cal Ripken, Jr. The 2009 Gala will be on March 21.

The four columns adopted as the Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System Foundation's "The Society of 1921" logo represent the four pillars that stood at the hospital's original 1921 entrance. Likewise, the Society of 1921 represents those donors who have stood as pillars to build the Foundation upon. These annual donors represent consistency and commitment to the Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System Foundation and its projects.

For more information on joining the Society of 1921, please call the Foundation at 864-560-6727.
