Breast Health Program
Women who are at risk of developing breast cancer or who have been diagnosed with breast cancer can turn to the
Breast Health Program to help direct them from the beginning to the end of a their treatment plan.
Breast health specialists are key to the program. These registered nurses are trained in benign and malignant disease, diagnosis, treatment and emotional support and are resources as well as patient advocates. One of their primary jobs is to guide women through their treatment with education and support.
Women who are in the Breast Health Program will also have access to clinical trials and research offering the most current treatments available. Additional benefits of the program include multidisciplinary conferencing among specialists, state-of-the-art breast imaging and complementary therapy.
