That Special Look is an appearance center specializing in services and products for cancer patients in 
addition to offering a variety of other unique items. Located in the Gibbs Cancer Center, That Special Look offers convenience, caring and quality to its customers who are looking to address the appearance-related side effects that can accompany cancer treatment.
Special features for cancer patients
We understand that appearance is an important factor in the way we feel about ourselves. That Special Look is dedicated to helping women look good and feel good about their appearance while undergoing cancer therapy.
Mastectomy products
After breast surgery, most women hear about breast forms, or breast prostheses, for the first time in their lives. A breast prosthesis is an external form in the shape of a breast worn with or without a special bra after a breast has been removed. They are made in a variety of shapes, sizes and colors, in order to meet individual needs. That Special Look has a mastectomy fitter on staff who can assist women with choosing and fitting their breast form. In addition, we carry a vast selection of mastectomy bras and camisoles.
Hats and turbans
A large selection of hats in various styles, fabrics and colors is available year-round along with turbans and head scarves. That Special Look keeps a revolving supply, so there are always new hats and turbans to try. Special bangs are available to wear with hats and turbans to enhance your appearance and create a new look.
Other specialty items
That Special Look also stocks several bath and skin care items, including some natural and organic. We have a selection of breast cancer awareness scarves, stickers and pens, among other items. In addition to clothing, hats, bathing suits and jewelry, That Special Look sells special occasion cards, key chain decorations, sun catchers and purses. Payment
There should never be a time when a woman is without a properly fitted breast prosthesis. In addition to all major credit cards, we accept private insurance, Medicare and Medicaid. Our insurance specialist will do the filing for you.
