Survivorship Program
More than 12 million people are alive today after being diagnosed and treated for cancer.
Many survivors report mixed feelings after the completion of their treatment and that they feel different as a cancer survivor. This time of transition can be eased by taking advantage of the resources of the Gibbs Cancer Center Survivorship Program.
We offer classes and a clinic providing tips on making healthy choices and empower you to resume life after cancer. Gibbs Cancer Center is a participant in the NCI Community Cancer Centers Program (NCCCP) and understands that survivors have unique needs. Through American Recovery and Reinvestment (ARRA) funding, the Gibbs Survivorship Team has developed a Survivorship Program to help people cope with this time in their lives.
Gibbs Cancer Center's Survivorship Clinic has been recognized for its innovation by the Association of Community Cancer Centers.
