Cardiac Surgery
The Spartanburg Regional Heart Center cardiac surgery program utilizes the latest and most up-to-date knowledge and technology to offer a variety of surgical services to patients. These include:
Cardiac Artery Bypass Graft: creates new routes around damaged or blocked arteries.
Heart Valve Surgery: repairing or replacing of diseased heart valves.
MAZE Procedures: treatment of irregular heartbeat patterns by producing scar tissue on the heart thus blocking electrical impulses allowing for a regular heartbeat.

Beating heart surgery: allows the surgeon to perform open heart surgery without the use of the heart-lung machine which is the traditional method.
