Insurance and Billing

Appointments for diabetes education require a referral from a health care provider.

Many insurance carriers in South Carolina pay for diabetes care, including education, blood glucose monitoring and supplies. Please check with your insurance carrier to verify what services and treatments your carrier will cover. Our practice will file insurance for you. All co-pays should be made on the day of service. Please remember to bring your insurance card with you.

If you do not have insurance please call us to discuss your options. It is not necessary to see an endocrinologist to take advantage of diabetes education. 

Carolinas Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology is part of Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System, located in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
The Center for Family Medicine, a member of the Spartanburg Regional Physician Group, is the clinical practice setting for the Family Medicine Residency Program of Spartanburg Regional, a program designed to train physicians in the specialty of family medicine. We provide care for the entire family, from newborns to adults.
