Dr. Leyland received his medical degree from Wright State University School of Medicine, where he also completed his general surgery residency. He completed a residency in cardiac and thoracic surgery and a fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Leyland is board certified in cardiothoracic surgery.
