Dr. Kavanagh is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She graduated from the University of Iowa School of Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has lived and practiced in Spartanburg since 1987. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She and her husband have two grown children.
