Regional Pediatrics uses electronic medical records (EMR). EMR enhances patient care as well as convenience. We can quickly access your child’s medical history and provide you with documentation on growth and development, as well as information on any illness or injury your child may have.Through EMR, our physicians are able to instantly transmit prescriptions to the pharmacy of your choice during your visit.
Well Child Visits
The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends regularly scheduled checkups. These checkups, usually called “well baby” or “well child” visits, give our physicians a chance to observe and assess your child’s health and development, and give you a chance to have questions or concerns addressed. Generally, parents should schedule appointments for well-child visits as follows:
- One to two weeks of age
- Two months*
- Four months*
- Six months*
- Nine months
- 12 months*
- 15 monhs*
- 8 months*
- Every two years from age 6 to 18
*Vaccinations are scheduled at this visit
