Admission Requirements

If you choose comfort care, ask your physician about Regional Hospice. Your physician may make a referral, or arrange for a Regional Hospice team member to talk with you and your family, by calling 864-560-3901. We provide expertise and compassionate medical services under the direction of your physician.

To be eligible for Regional Hospice services, you must:

• Have a life expectancy of six months or less, if your illness follows the predicted course
• Have examined all of your options thoroughly and have chosen comfort care rather than disease fighting care
• Live in Spartanburg, Union, Cherokee or Greenville County

Regional Hospice has a policy of serving all eligible persons regardless of the ability to pay.
