Thorascopic Lobectomy with Robotics in South Carolina

Smaller incisions = less pain = better breathing for lung surgery and lung cancer patients.

Thoracic surgical oncologists at Spartanburg Regional perform lung procedures and surgeries with the robot, including thorascopic lobectomy for patients with early stages of lung cancer.

By performing a robotic lobectomy using the da Vinci Surgical System, thoracic surgical oncologists are able to remove the lobe where the tumor is and the lymph nodes that surround the affected lung by using small incisions.
