What is Healing Touch?
Healing Touch is a gentle, complementary energy-based approach to health and healing. The goal is to restore harmony and balance to the human energy system through a heart-centered caring relationship and the use of contact/non-contact touch. This can greatly assist the body and mind in its natural ability to heal. Healing Touch is an evidence based practice that offers continuing education for nurses, chaplains, and massage therapists.

INSTRUCTOR: Jean S. Pruett. D.Min, LPC, FBPPC, HTCP/I/QM Jean is a Charter Member of Healing Touch Program Association, a Pastoral Psychotherapist, a Healing Touch Certified Practitioner, Instructor, and Qualified Mentor and an Administrative Staff Chaplain and HT Specialist in the 2nd largest health care system in the nation. Jean holds a B.A. in Sociology from Winthrop University, an M.R.E. in Education and Social Work from New Orleans Theological Seminary, a M.Div. in Theology from Erskine Theological Seminary, and a D.Min. in Marriage and Family Studies from Erskine Theological Seminary.
