Jean Pruett, Staff Chaplain and Healing Touch Specialist CMC from Levine Cancer Institute, will share the history and use of Healing Touch in the healthcare setting. The Healing Touch Program (HTP) is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Commission (ANCC); HTP has a standardized curriculum, a code of ethics, and a scope of practice and will be accredited by NCCA through ICE this spring.
"Keeping Mind Body Connections" events are free to alumni of the Mind-Body Skills and Michelin Resilience Group programs and Spartanburg Regional staff. Others may attend for a $5 registration fee taken at the door. Registration is required by email to Dawn Higgins firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 560-6022.
