Health Sciences Library

The Health Sciences Library is located in the ground floor of the Heart Center and is open Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. The library is available to provide medical information to patients, their families, the public and medical professionals within the community and Spartanburg Regional.

The library contains a collection of 2,500 books and audiovisuals on the subjects of nursing, medicine, pharmacology and allied and mental health. These are circulated to Spartanburg Regional staff and local faculty only. There are more than 200 print journals dating back five years and thousands of online journal articles available via online databases. Online evidence-based disease information is available online. Print journals do not circulate, however a photocopier with scanning and e-mail capability is available.

The library provides reference service, interlibrary loans, computer searches and searching assistance to staff, patients and the community.
