Oncology Rehabilitation
Oncology Rehabilitation is for cancer patients who experience lymphedema or loss of function during or following cancer treatment.
The journey through diagnosis, surgery, chemotherapy or radiation may produce:
- pain
- loss of strength
- loss of endurance
- decreased range of motion in upper or lower extremities
- edema
The program is staffed by specially trained therapists that are nationally certified by the Lymphology Association of North America. The therapists utilize various treatment techniques to maximize the patient's functional independence.
