Attendance Policy
REGULAR ATTENDANCE: Regular attendance is needed to achieve therapy goals. If you are unable to attend a scheduled appointment, please keep the following policy in mind:
Cancellations: A cancellation is any appointment cancelled before the scheduled appointment time. If you have more than three (3) cancellations during the course of your treatment, you will be discharged from therapy and you referring physician will be notified.
No Shows: A “no show” is any missed appointment which occurs without a phone call prior to the appointment. If you have two “no show” appointments, you will be discharged from therapy and your referring physician will be notified.
Late Arrivals: A late arrival occurs anytime a patient arrives after their scheduled appointment time. If you are running late, please call our office at 864-560-6480. Your therapist may have been assigned to another patient’s care. Your appointment may be delayed, rescheduled or cancelled. A consistent pattern of late arrivals will result in discharge from treatment.
