Breastfeeding Services

We have two International Board Certified lactation consultants (IBCLC) to help with all of your breastfeeding needs. An International Board-Certified lactation consultant is a healthcare professional who specializes in the clinical management of breastfeeding. Many women attempt to breastfeed but wean early due to problems they face. IBCLC’s work to prevent and solve breastfeeding problems to help create a positive experience for both mother and baby. They are available for patients in the hospital five days a week and some weekends. Once you are home, the breast-feeding phone line is available seven days a week. All calls will be returned within 24 hours.
