Prepared Childbirth Series
This four-class series prepares you and your support person for the birth of your baby. Includes comfort measures, medical options and procedures, a birthing video and a tour.
Refresher Class
This is for those who have experienced childbirth and only need a refresher course on the birthing process. Includes a tour.
Sibling Class
Designed to help 3 - 12 year-old children handle with the arrival of a new brother or sister. The class includes a video, hands-on practice and a tour.
Breastfeeding Class
Learn how to make it a positive experience for you and your baby. Topics include early breastfeeding, benefits to mom and baby, returning to work and weaning.
Infant Care Class
In two hours, covers the basics of infant care and nurturing.
Infant CPR
Familiarizes you and your support person(s) with basic CPR for infants under one year of age. Safety tips for your home are also covered in this course.
HypnoBirthing Relaxation
Teaches techniques for achieving a satisfying, relaxing and stress-free birthing experience through physical and emotional relaxation. Learn to be totally relaxed, but fully in control. Using techniques learned, you will experience your birthing in a calm and relaxed environment without fear and tension.
Infant Massage
Massage therapy can help relax and comfort your baby. Taught by a certified infant massage instructor, this class teaches the proper techniques for massage, which increases the bond between parent and baby.
Table for Two - Baby and You
This free, very casual luncheon is for mothers and babies to meet other new moms, ask questions, share concerns, laugh and talk about life with a new baby and more. Baby needs to be two weeks old to attend. Meets every Thursday 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., excluding holidays. You do not need to register, but call 560-2297 to let us know if you plan to attend or if you have any questions.
