Improving Women’s Heart Health

Heart Care For Women

You might be surprised to learn that heart disease is the nation’s Number 1 cause of women’s deaths—claiming more lives than all forms of cancer combined. Physicians with Spartanburg Regional Heart Center understand this. So we are working with HeartCaring, national program focused on the special heart-care needs of women. And we are one of only about 150 hospitals in the nation to offer it.

Through this program, a special group of providers in our region have taken steps to understand the unique needs of women when it comes to heart care, and to help you improve your heart health. HeartCaring is a program of the Spirit of Women network, a national effort to improve women’s health.
