Joint Replacement & Care

For patients with serious damage to the knee, hip, shoulder or other joints, Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System brings together an experienced team of experts and innovative facilities. If surgery is the best treatment for you, we use the latest technologies to replace all or just the damaged part of a joint. Our joint replacement team offers surgical expertise, advanced pain management and rehabilitation. Together, these allow our patients to return to work, school and other activities more quickly than ever before.

Our Joint Replacement team offers surgical expertise in:

  • Total hip replacement
  • Total knee replacement
  • Total shoulder replacement
  • Partial joint replacement, or removal of only the damaged tissue and bone

Your Joint Care Starts Before Surgery

For every patient, we create a comprehensive plan to get you ready for surgery and a successful rehabilitation—so you can get back to a more active lifestyle. Throughout your care, we’ll coordinate with a variety of joint specialists at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System—from rehab during your hospital stay to care after you return home.

You are one of the most important members of your healthcare team so we have created “The Joint Camp” at Pelham Medical Center to help you with this role. The program includes education so you’ll know what to expect at each phase of your care, from the first appointment to recovery so you can quickly and safely return to the activities most important to you.
