We have dedicated specialists and unique programs for women, at many convenient locations across the region. From breast care to childbirth, plus cancer care, heart and gynecology services, we offer many specialty programs devoted to women’s health. The Center for Women on the campus of Spartanburg Medical Center brings many of these services together.

Services For Women Of All Ages And Stages Of Life

The Center for Women is located at our health system’s flagship hospital, Spartanburg Medical Center. It offers an experienced staff to provide care and education, plus the most up-to-date facilities for the unique healthcare needs of women.

Our women’s services include:

  • Dedicated gynecologists, obstetricians and a range of other women’s specialists with offices across the region.
  • Specialists in cancer care, from diagnosis and treatment for cervical, endometrial, uterine, ovarian and other types of cancer, based at nationally recognized Gibbs Cancer Center & Research Institute, part of Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System
  • Experts and facilities of the Bearden-Josey Center for Breast Health, part of Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System
  • HeartCaring® Program, to empower women to reduce their risks for heart disease, plus a team of physicians with special training in this field
  • Full range of childbirth services at the Center for Women at Spartanburg Medical Center, from high-risk pregnancies to newborn care, plus a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)  for babies born premature or with complex medical conditions
