Santa Visits Cancer Patients

Voices singing Holly Jolly Christmas, jingling bells and “ho, ho, hos” filled the halls of Gibbs Cancer Center & Research Institute on Friday morning.

The cancer center staff and Santa Claus helped brighten the holidays for Christmas patients by caroling.

“The holidays can be a difficult time of year for those with an illness, but an important part of healing is raising spirits,” said David Church, PhD, Vice President of Oncology and Support Services for Gibbs. “This is one way we can help brighten Christmas for patients and our associates.”

Santa Claus and Gibbs Cancer Center & Research Institute associates caroled through Gibbs to brighten the holidays for patients.
