Healthgrades recognized Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System (SRHS) for excellence in cardiac care. SRHS received the Healthgrades 2015 Cardiac Surgery Excellence Award and is in the top 10 percent in the nation for cardiac surgery. Spartanburg Regional is the only healthcare system in South Carolina to be the recipient of the Healthgrades 2015 Cardiac Surgery Excellence Award™.
Healthgrades provides consumers with the information they need to make informed healthcare decisions, including information about the provider’s experience, patient satisfaction and hospital quality. Physicians and healthcare professionals also rely upon Healthgrades to accurately represent their practice online, be more discoverable and connect with patients. The awards are based on ratings that display how well a hospital performed in providing patient care.
In 2013, SRHS was previously ranked No. 1 in South Carolina for overall cardiac services by Healthgrades.
“Being recognized once again for our cardiac care services and surgery establishes that we put the care and safety of our patients first,” said Phil Feisal, President of Spartanburg Medical Center.
