Well-Child Visits

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends regularly scheduled check-ups. These check-ups, usually called “well-baby” or “well-child” visits, give our pediatricians a chance to observe and assess your child’s health and development and give you a chance to have your questions or concerns addressed.

Parents will need to be present for these appointments and the patient should be dressed in loose clothing for their convenience.

Generally, parents should schedule appointments for well-child visits as follows:

  • One to two weeks of age
  • Two months *
  • Four months *
  • Six months *
  • Nine months
  • Twelve months *
  • Fifteen months *
  • Eighteen months
  • Two years
  • Annually once your child is three years old until the age of eighteen

* Vaccinations are scheduled at this visit
