Corporate Education

The Corporate Education Department at Spartanburg Regional provides many services for Spartanburg Regional employees and the community. The department provides educational and computer offerings for all nursing services. The department also coordinates clinical experiences for all undergraduate and graduate nursing students.

Corporate Education provides:

  • General orientation to all new employees
  • Leadership development workshops
  • Learning management systems support
  • Works with the Foundation on various scholarship programs
  • Computerized documentation and order entry for employees
  • Nursing orientation
  • Charge Nurse and Preceptor Education
  • New graduate workshops
  • Clinical competency validation
  • CMS compliance education
  • Magnet Champions
  • IV (Intravenous) Therapy Workshops
  • Lateral Hostility Training
  • Ongoing nursing clinical education programs
  • American Heart Association classes
  • CE for nurses and allied health professionals for both hospital employees and the community
  • Opportunities for high school and college/university students to explore career options in health care
