Demonstrating our commitment to high-quality health care, our teams have achieved advanced training in specialty areas of emergency care, from trauma to chest pain, stroke, crisis and even disasters. And for less urgent medical needs like sprains and flu, we offer other levels of care. So no matter what your emergency, the physicians and staff of Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System are prepared for you.

Ready For Your Emergency And Urgent Care Needs

The levels and locations of care available at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System span a wide range, from Trauma to Emergency and Immediate Care:

As a Level I Trauma Center, Spartanburg Medical Center has committed trauma specialists and dedicated facilities to provide all levels of trauma care, for those with internal injuries, head injuries and spinal cord injuries, for example. We work closely with area paramedics, emergency medical transporters (EMTs) and Regional One emergency helicopter ambulance.

Our nationally accredited Chest Pain Center and certified Primary Stroke Center are staffed by teams trained to quickly evaluate and treat heart attack and stroke. Both are based in the Emergency Center of Spartanburg Medical Center.

Our two 24-hour Emergency Centers are located within full-service hospitals and are staffed by board certified physicians who are experienced in emergency care.

The staff of our walk-in Immediate Care Centers is prepared to care for those with less serious illness and injury, and when your primary care physician is not available.

No matter what type or level of emergency, our experts are prepared 24 hours a day, every day, for your visit.
