- We were among the first hospitals in South Carolina to use a brain-saving cooling therapy for patients experiencing cardiac arrest.
- We were the first certified Primary Stroke Center in South Carolina.
- We were the first hospital in South Carolina and third in the entire country to perform computer-guided “beating-heart surgery,” an open-heart surgery on a still-beating heart.
- We are home to the Heart Wellness Cardiac Rehab program, the only cardiac rehab program in Spartanburg.
