Specimen Type

Bronchial Lavage (BAL) differential or Bronchial Lavage Eosinophil counts• Only a differential on a Joint Fluid, Pericardial Fluid, Pleural fluid, Paracentesis fluid, Thorocentesis Fluid, Amniotic fluid, etc.         

Container

Sterile container or if prone to clot such as knee fluid, fluid may be placed in a lavender EDTA tube.
