Min. volume: 0.3 ml (this does not allow for repeat testing).

Additional Information

Used as an aid in the detection of residual or recurrent ovarian carcinoma.  This test not to be used for serial monitoring.

Patient Preparation

It is suggested that the assay not be performed until at least 3 weeks after completion of chemotherapy and 2 months following abdominal surgery.
This test may exhibit interference when sample is collected from a person who is consuming a supplement with a high dose of biotin.
