Call Lab with questions. Heel stick accepted on newborns if necessary-0.3 mL.
Collect before 8:00 a.m.; No collection on Fridays after 7:30 a.m. No collection on holidays or day before holiday (after 7:30 a.m.)

Arrangement or rearrangement of chromosomes for diagnosis of genetic disorders. 

Methodology

Culture of cells w/minimum of 20 cells counted and 5 cells analyzed from G banded preparation.
