Collect in sterile container

Volume

Volume: 5 ml sputum; 1 ml. transtracheal aspirate, pleural fluid, lung tissue; 50 ml bronchial specimens. (50 ml is optimal) 
Min. volume: 2 ml. sputum; 1 ml. tracheal aspirate, pleural fluid, lung tissue; 20 ml. bronchial specimens.(50 ml is optimal) 

Additional Information 

Determines the presence of Legionella pneumophila organisms.

Refrigerate; Lung tissue must be frozen

Refrigerated : 3 days
