Specimen Processing Instructions

Centrifuge at 3380 rpm’s (±100) for 5 minutes.

Specimen Stability

Room Temperature Plasma: 4 hours   

Patients NOT Receiving Heparin Therapy:  Centrifuge specimen for 10 minutes, pour off plasma and freeze at -20°C.  (Stable frozen for 14 days.)

•  Clotted Sample 
•  Insufficient volume
