While You’re in the Hospital
Having a baby is an exciting time – and here at Spartanburg Medical Center, we work hard to make it a positive and comfortable experience for you, your baby and your loved ones. Read our guidelines related to family and friends visitation. If your loved ones have an interest in taking photographs or video during your labor and childbirth experience, please direct them to our photography and videography guidelines.
Are you thinking about which contraceptive you’ll be using after you deliver your baby? Talk to your healthcare provider about your options, or contact program director at 864-560-2294 for information about our long-acting reversible contraceptive (LARCs) program. The LARC (long-acting reversible contraceptive) program’s goal is to provide education to qualifying individuals whom may benefit from LARC services.
Sometimes a condition during pregnancy – such as premature rupture of membranes or premature labor – may require a hospital stay. If you need antepartum (before childbirth) care, you can be assured that you and your baby will be in excellent hands in our Level III perinatal center. Patients stay in a room in the labor and delivery unit.
MyChart is a 24/7 online portal that allows you to communicate with your doctor, view your test results, request prescription refills and manage your appointments. Set up an account today to access and manage your account with Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System.
If you have questions about any of our services, do not hesitate to ask your doctor or call 864-560-BABY (2229). We are here to help prepare you for your delivery experience in whatever way we can.
