Greek Marinated Chicken
Yields: 4 servings
Portion Size: 3 ounces
2/3 tbsp fresh garlic cloves, peeled and mashed
2/3 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
4 - 3 ounce boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2/3 tbsp fresh oregano
8 tbsp olive/canola oil, 90/10 blend
Place the chicken in a container; add the olive oil, oregano, basil, and pepper. Make sure the ingredients cover the chicken evenly. Place in the refrigerator for 6 or more hours.
Preheat a grill. Cook the chicken on both sides until the internal temp is 165 F and the chicken is cooked through.
Serve immediately or place in the refrigerator until ready for use.
