Food For Life: Cancer Project - Nutrition and Cooking Class (Fall Series)

Are you a Gibbs Cancer Center (Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System) patient interested in adopting a  plant-based diet? 

The Food For Life nutrition and cooking class includes nutrition information, cooking demonstrations, and delicious recipes in a supportive group setting. Over the course of four weeks you will explore the following topics: 

  • Introduction to How Foods Fight Cancer


  • Fueling Up on Low-Fat, High-Fiber Foods


  • Discovering Dairy and Meat Alternatives


  • Cancer-Fighting Compounds and Healthy Weight Control

To participate in this class, you must call to register and be able to commit to all four classes

*The class tuition of $100.00 and the cost of the textbook will be paid if you are a Gibbs Cancer Center Patient.*
