Steven Leyland, MD

Biography

Dr. Leyland received his medical degree from Wright State University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in general surgery at Wright State University Hospitals. Dr. Leyland completed his residency in cardiac and thoracic surgery and a fellowship in cardiovascular surgery at University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is board certified in both cardiac and thoracic surgery. Dr. Leyland specializes in heart valve surgery (aortic and mitral), coronary artery surgery and surgery of the thoracic aorta.
