Dr. Yeatman received his medical degree from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. He completed his internship and residency at University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, FL. Dr. Yeatman completed his fellowship in surgical oncology at University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. He is a member of the American Surgical Association, Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract, American Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association, Society of University Surgeons, American Association for the Advancement of Science, American Association for Cancer Research, Society of Surgical Oncology. He is a Program Committee Member of the Association for Academic Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Yeatman is the President and Director of the Gibbs Cancer Center and Research Institute and the President of the Guardian Research Network. He is board certified in General Surgery.
