Radiology Rotation

Duration: 2-4 weeks
Course offered: throughout the year

This course is designed to the give the student a general overview of diagnostic and interventional radiology to include all major subspecialties within the field.

Education Objectives: Radiology

Upon their completion, the students will have gained a better understanding of all imaging modalities within radiology. In addition, they will have better knowledge of appropriate criteria used to order the correct imaging test for specific diagnoses. Finally, the students will gain a sense of when to consult radiology and realize the added value of these consultations to overall patient care.
