Health Sciences Library
The Health Sciences Library contains a collection of 2,500 books and audiovisuals on the subjects of nursing, medicine, pharmacology and allied and mental health. These are circulated to Spartanburg Regional staff and local faculty only. There are more than 200 print journals dating a few years and thousands of online journal articles available via online databases. Online evidence-based point of care resources and eBooks are also available. Print journals do not circulate, however a photocopier with scanning and e-mail capability is available.
The library provides reference service, interlibrary loan/document delivery of articles the library does not have access to, medical/nursing literature searches and searching assistance to staff, patients and the community.

Information regarding the library’s electronic resources such as databases, point of care resources, journals, eBooks, catalog, etc. can be found on its intranet page which is available to SRHS staff only.
The Health Sciences Library is located in the ground floor of the Heart Center and is open Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. The library is available to provide medical information to patients, their families, the public and medical professionals within the community and Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System.
