Phil Humphrey, PharmD, BCPS

System Director of Pharmacy

Phil graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.S. in 2000 and a PharmD in 2004. Phil completed a PGY1 residency and a PGY2 residency in surgical critical care and trauma at Clarian Health Partners in 2005 and 2006, respectively. Phil started at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System in 2006 as a Critical Care Clinical Pharmacy Specialist and has been the system Director of Pharmacy Services since 2015.

Kristen Turner, PharmD, BCPS, BCPPS

Residency Program Director, Clinical Pharmacy Specialist – Pediatrics

Kristen graduated from the University of Florida with a PharmD in 2005. Kristen completed a PGY1 residency and a PGY2 residency in pediatrics at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2006 and 2007, respectively. Kristen started at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System in 2008 and has been the PGY1 Residency Program Director since 2016.

Nancy Blumer, PharmD

Pharmacy Manager

Nancy graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.S. in pharmacy in 1977 and from the Medical University of South Carolina with a PharmD in 2000. Nancy started at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System and has been a pharmacy manager since 2009.

Michael Ferguson, RPh

Pharmacy Manager

Michael graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina with a B.S. in pharmacy in 1980. Michael started at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System in 1980 and has been a pharmacy manager since 2002.

Tiffany Lancaster, RPh

Pharmacy Manager

Tiffany graduated from the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy with a B.S. in pharmacy in 1997. Tiffany has served as the pharmacy manager for Union Medical Center since 2004 and has been a pharmacy manager at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System since 2015.

Ginger Minton, RN, BSN, PharmD, BCPS

Pharmacy Manager

Ginger graduated from the South Carolina College of Pharmacy at the University of South Carolina Campus with a PharmD in 2012. Ginger completed a PGY1 residency at Spartanburg Medical Center in 2013 and has been a pharmacy manager since 2016.

Brian Nesemeier, RPh

Pharmacy Manager

Brian graduated from North Dakota State University with a B.S. in pharmacy in 1983. Brian completed a PGY1 residency at Spartanburg General Hospital in 1984 and has been a pharmacy manager since 1990.

Derrick Clay, PharmD, BCCCP

Clinical Pharmacy Specialist – Emergency Medicine

Derrick graduated from Temple University with a PharmD in 2008. Derrick completed a PGY1 residency and a PGY2 residency in emergency medicine at Grady Health System in 2009 and 2010, respectively. Derrick started at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System in 2013.

Jennifer Clements, PharmD, FCCP, BCPS, CDE, BCACP

Professor – Family Medicine

Jennifer graduated from Campbell University with a PharmD in 2006. Jennifer completed a PGY1 residency in primary care at Ralph H. Johnson VAMC in 2007. In 2012, Jennifer joined the faculty of Presbyterian College School of Pharmacy where she currently serves as the Director of Postgraduate Education. Jennifer joined the residency faculty in 2018 as a preceptor for the Longitudinal Education and Teaching rotation.

Adele Earnhardt, PharmD, BCPS

Adele graduated from Hampton University with a PharmD in 2010. Adele started at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System in 2010.

Eric Fallow, PharmD, CACP

Clinical Pharmacy Specialist – Outpatient Anticoagulation

Eric graduated from the South Carolina College of Pharmacy with a PharmD in 2010. Eric completed a PGY1 residency at Columbus Regional Health in 2011. Eric started at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System in 2014.

Amber Giles, PharmD, MPH, BCPS, AAHIVP

Assistant Professor – Outpatient Infectious Diseases

Amber graduated from the South Carolina College of Pharmacy-MUSC Campus with a PharmD in 2015. Amber completed a PGY1 residency at Spartanburg Medical Center in 2016 and a PGY2 residency in infectious diseases at Jackson Memorial Hospital in 2017. In 2017, Amber joined the faculty of Presbyterian College School of Pharmacy with a clinical practice site at the outpatient infectious diseases clinic of Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System.

Maelen Ignacio, PharmD

Clinical Pharmacy Specialist – Medical Intensive Care

Maelen graduated from Jefferson College of Pharmacy with a PharmD in 2014. Maelen completed a PGY1 residency at Christiana Care Health System in 2015 and a PGY2 residency in critical care at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in 2016. Maelen started at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System in 2016.

Evan Lantz, PharmD, BCPS

Evan graduated from West Virginia University with a PharmD in 2012. Evan completed a PGY1 residency at LSU Health Shreveport in 2013 and a PGY2 residency in infectious diseases at Jackson Memorial Hospital in 2014. Evan started at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System in 2014.

Alex McDonald, PharmD, BCPS

Clinical Pharmacy Specialist – Cardiovascular Critical Care

Alex graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina with a BS in 1995 and a PharmD in 1997. Alex completed a PGY1 residency in drug information at Glaxo-Wellcome/UNC in 1998. Alex started at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System in 1989.

Jocelyn graduated from the South Carolina College of Pharmacy with a PharmD in 2015. Jocelyn completed a PGY1 residency at Spartanburg Medical Center in 2016. Jocelyn started at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System in 2016 and has been a pharmacy supervisor since 2018.
