I have experienced first-hand what it is like to be a resident in the program and I understand and relate to residents concerns and day-to-day ups and downs. It has helped me to be a better teacher. I care about each and every one of our residents, and enjoy being surrounded by them and helping them grow as physicians and as persons. I love all aspects of family medicine - especially women's health and pediatrics. I believe our united goal as faculty in this program is to provide education that shapes residents into becoming competent physicians, who care about their patients and communities. It gives me great satisfaction to be part of this process."
