Apart from many other programs, the app Ii cant evaluation process was geared towards discovering residents that would equally support their patients and fellow colleagues. These values were also reflected by the attending physicians that emphasized the role of personalized educational instruction and growth while also providing residents with the flexibility to participate within family and social opportunities. The incredible benefits also included access to the Carolina Country Club and Spartanburg Athletic Club. "Spartanburg is my hometown, so it's nice to spend my intern year in a familiar place.  Spartanburg is a great town for young families. The Spartanburg TY has a long-standing reputation of being the most sought after PGY-1 year, and it has lived up to expectations every day during my time here.  We receive great training in internal medicine and have lots of opportunity to explore different specialties during out elective blocks. The perks of the program are great, allowing for recreation at Spartanburg Athletic Club and golf at Carolina Country Club for all those interested.  Sparkle City is also just a short drive away from many nice vacation spots from mountains to the coast which makes it almost effortless to enjoy time off."
