Specimen Processing Instructions

Frozen Platelet Poor Plasma: Centrifuge at 3380 rpm’s (±100) for 15 minutes, remove plasma into a plastic tube and centrifuge again to achieve platelet poor plasma,  Transfer to a new tube send frozen to the .

Whole Blood: Room Temperature

Platelet Poor Plasma: Frozen 

Do Not Refrigerate

Specimen Stability

Room Temperature Plasma/Whole Blood: 24Hours

Frozen Platelet Poor Plasma: 14 Days (-20 degrees)
