The Sports Nutrition program provides athletes with comprehensive, individualized, one-on-one nutrition counseling with a registered dietitian. Nutrition experts focus on health, wellness, and improving athletic fitness and performance through diet and lifestyle modification.
The first visit includes an assessment of the athlete’s current diet, as well as discussion about their fitness routine and goals. Information will be given about weight gain, weight loss or weight maintenance depending on specific needs within the 7-day meal plan. The second visit will happen 2/3 weeks after the 7-day meal plan is in place.
Seven-day meal plans include three meals each day, plus snacks. Specific caloric and protein needs are emphasized. Our dietitian works with athletes to develop effective, custom meal plans tailored to their lifestyle and desired results. Our nutrition experts know how to develop meal plans that athletes will want to follow. Additionally, we discuss how to continue healthy eating habits beyond the first seven days.
