Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System is currently offering sign-on bonuses for critical positions in most locations. Bonuses will be paid out in installments, as described below, beginning after the completion of the first 120 days of full-time employment. Bonus amounts and pay-out schedules will vary.

Current Sign-On Bonuses
Sign-on bonuses are subject to change at any time.
RNs at CMC, UMC and Ellen Sagar locations only: Up to $15,000
- Paid in two installments
RNs: Up to $10,000
- Paid in two installments
- Knowledge bonus for experienced nurses
New Grad RNs in Med-Surg: Up to $5,000
- Paid in two installments
Physical Therapists: Up to $10,000
- Paid in two installments
- Knowledge bonus for experienced PTs.
Occupational Therapists: Up to $10,000
- Paid in two installments
- Knowledge bonus for experienced OTs
Respiratory Therapists: Up to $7,500
- Paid in two installments
New Grad Respiratory Therapists: Up to $5,000
- Paid in two installments
MLT: Up to $5,000
- Paid in two installments
CT Scan Technologist: Up to $7,500
- Paid in two installments
MRI, Nuclear Medicine: Up to $5,000
- Paid in two installments
Cardiac Sonographers: Up to $5,000
- Paid in two installments
Rad Techs: Up to $3,000
- Paid in two installments
Athletic Trainers: Up to $3,000
- Paid in two installments
LPNs / CMAs / RMAs: Up to $3,000
- Paid in three installments
- Commitment bonus for select locations
CNAs: Up to $2,500
- Paid in two installments
EMT / Paramedic (Ambulance Services positions only): Up to $3,500
- Paid in two installments
Bonus Payout Schedule
Bonuses paid in TWO INSTALLMENTS:
- First half of the bonus will be paid after the completion of the first 120 days of full-time employment.
- Second half of the bonus will be paid after the completion of the first 12 months of full-time employment.
Bonuses paid in THREE INSTALLMENTS:
- $1,000 will be paid after the completion of the first 6 months of full-time employment.
- $1,000 will be paid after the completion of the first 12 months of full-time employment.
- $1,000 will be paid after the completion of the first 18 months of full-time employment.
Knowledge & commitment bonus payout:
- You can expect an additional bonus check after the completion of your first 3 months, your first 6 months, your first 9 months, and finally after the completion of your first 12 months of employment.
Eligibility and Rules Apply
- Those eligible include:
- All new hires who meet the requirements for the bonus.
- Previous employees who have been outside of the organization for over one year.
- Current employees who are transferring into the role for the first time. For example, PCA to RN. PRN employees accepting a FULL-TIME position are eligible but must remain in the FULL-TIME role for a period of 12 months.
- The payments will be part of the compensation offered and will be subject to all applicable state, federal and FICA taxes.
- Associates must be actively on payroll in the qualifying full-time position at the time of bonus distribution or else payment is forfeited.
- Associates must be in good standing at the time of bonus distribution with no current disciplinary actions.
- It can take up to two payroll periods after each benchmark for the funds to be received.
