Eligibility Rules Apply

  • Those eligible include:
    • All full-time new hires who meet the requirements for the bonus.
    • Previous employees who have been outside of the organization for over six (6) months.
    • Current employees who are transferring into the role for the first time (i.e.,
           just licensed). For example, PCA to RN. 
    • PRN employees accepting a FULL-TIME role of the same position title are not eligible for this bonus.
  • The payments will be part of the compensation offered and will be subject to all applicable state, federal and FICA taxes.
  • Associates must be actively on payroll in the qualifying full-time position at the time of bonus distribution or else payment is forfeited.
  • If an Associate changes jobs or full-time status within the first 18 months after accepting a qualifying position, the Associate will forfeit the next installment of the bonus. This includes any employee transferring from FULL TIME to PRN in the same job / unit / department.
    • The only exception would be when an Associate switches from a full-time Clinical RN role to a Baylor RN role in the same unit, or switches from a Baylor RN role to a full-time Clinical RN. In this scenario ONLY, the associate will still be eligible for the sign-on bonus installments.
  • Associates must be in good standing at the time of bonus distribution with no current disciplinary actions.
  • It can take up to two payroll periods after each benchmark for the funds to be received.

Sign-on bonuses will be paid in four installments:

  • Each payment will be one-fourth of the total sign-on bonus listed above.
  • The first installment will be received up to 2 pay periods after completing 120 days in the qualifying position.
  • The second installment will be received up to 2 pay periods after completing 6 months in the qualifying position.
  • The third installment will be received up to 2 pay periods after completing 12 months in the qualifying position.
  • The fourth and final installment will be received up to 2 pay periods after completing 18 months in the qualifying position.
  • Associates must be actively on payroll in the qualifying full-time position at the time of bonus distribution or else payment is forfeited.

Relocation bonuses will be paid within the first two pay periods.

  • You must be actively employed when payments are distributed.
  • Should you fail to complete 18 months of continuous employment you will be expected to pay back a pro-rated or full amount of your bonus based on the amount of time you worked. You will need to pay back your bonus within 45 days after your last day of employment.

Commitment bonus payout:

  • You can expect an additional bonus check after the completion of your first 3 months, your first 6 months, your first 9 months, and finally after the completion of your first 12 months of employment.
  • You must be actively employed when payments are distributed.
