Restorative Care: Pulmonary Issues

Our hospital provides the most advanced respiratory treatment for conditions that require prolonged ventilator support and weaning.

Restorative Care Pulmonary Issues PhotoPatients are usually placed on ventilators when a condition makes it difficult for them to breathe on their own. The ventilator helps a person to breathe so his or her body can rest and heal. Keeping a patient healthy while using a ventilator and gradually removing the patient from the machine are among our care team’s specialties.

Pulmonary (Lung) Conditions

  • Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
  • Pneumonia
  • Respiratory failure
  • Respiratory infections/inflammations
  • Ventilator dependency requiring weaning
  • Ventilator management
