Spartanburg Regional Health Services District, Inc. is a self-funded, political subdivision of the state of South Carolina and does not receive tax dollars from the community.

Our Healthcare System
- Spartanburg Medical Center is a research and teaching hospital with two locations: Spartanburg Medical Center campus on East Wood Street and Spartanburg Medical Center — Mary Black Campus. With a total of 747 beds, services include emergency, surgical, maternity, cancer, a Heart Center and inpatient rehabilitation
- Union Medical Center a 12-bed hospital in Union, S.C., with an emergency department, inpatient/observation care, outpatient practices and outpatient diagnostics
- Cherokee Medical Center in Gaffney, S.C. a 125-bed acute care facility, with emergency, medical, surgical and imaging services
- Pelham Medical Center in Greer, S.C., a 48-bed, acute-care facility, with an emergency department, medical office building and numerous practices and amenities
- Spartanburg Hospital for Restorative Care, a licensed freestanding 97-bed, long term acute-care hospital (LTACH) and a licensed 25-bed skilled nursing facility.
- Ellen Sagar Nursing Center in Union, S.C., a 113-bed long-term care facility offering skilled nursing and rehabilitation services
- Woodruff Manor, an 88-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Woodruff, S.C.
- In-home hospice services, a 15-bed Hospice Home, and an experienced palliative care team for the comfort, care and support of patients with life-limiting illnesses
- Medical Group of the Carolinas (MGC), over 500 physicians in offices located throughout our service area
- Regional HealthPlus (RHP), a network of physicians, hospitals and other healthcare providers working in partnership with healthcare payors, third-party administrators and self-insured employers
- Spartanburg Regional Foundation, returning more than $100 million to
the community to support health and wellness since 1991 - Gibbs Cancer Center, with four locations across the Upstate, including Spartanburg, Greer, Gaffney and Union
- AccessHealth, a collaborative initiative between Spartanburg Regional and several community partners to connect uninsured individuals with health care
- The Sports Medicine Institute, located at Upward Star Center and North Grove Medical Park, where doctors, athletic trainers and physical therapists serve professional and recreational athletes
- Beaumont, a historic mill in Spartanburg housing administrative
