It is always a good idea to confirm coverage and restrictions with your insurance provider prior to visits and procedures. We contract with the majority of health plans in our region. Please check with your healthcare plan to verify your coverage before scheduling services. Insurance benefits are the result of your contract with your insurance company. We are a third party to those benefits and may need your help with your insurance company to ensure your claim is paid correctly and on time.

Please note that your health plan may require you to schedule certain services (such as lab work, physical therapy, imaging, etc.) at select locations in your network. Should you choose to receive services outside of your network, your insurer may hold you responsible for all charges provided outside of your network.

Separate Bills 

As Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System partners with other local providers to offer the best possible care, you may be billed separately for some services.

One example is MGC Anesthesiology: 

  • MGC Anesthesiology bills are processed through a separate billing system. These services will not show in your MyChart portal but will be billed by mail at your mailing address.
