Joshua Holmes, MD

Biography

Dr. Joshua Holmes found his passion for pursuing medicine in his 10th-grade biology class. He was fascinated at how complex the systems of living organisms were and how those systems work together. Dr. Holmes earned his medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston, South Carolina. He then completed a Family Medicine Residency at the Montgomery Center for Family Medicine in Greenwood, South Carolina. Dr. Holmes is board-certified in family medicine. When he is not seeing patients, he enjoys reading, tending to his garden, caring for his chickens and spending time with his wife and children.
