Part of the Community

For over 100 years, Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System has strived to be a trusted partner, advancing the health of the communities we serve. Through sponsorships, Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System is proud to support organizations and nonprofits that align with our mission, vision, values and strategic priorities, including addressing health disparities and community needs.

Financial planning for Spartanburg Regional's sponsorship program is re-evaluated at the conclusion of the healthcare system's fiscal year, which ends annually on Sept. 30. Organizations seeking sponsorship support are encouraged to submit applications beginning in October each year, as applications submitted later in the fiscal year may be less likely to be approved for sponsorship.

At this time, Spartanburg Regional's sponsorship program is no longer accepting applications for the current fiscal year. If you would like to submit a sponsorship application for a program or event beginning in October 2024, please click the link below.

To be eligible for a sponsorship from Spartanburg Regional, requesting organizations should meet the following criteria:

  • Create mutually beneficial partnerships that extend Spartanburg Regional's mission and vision, helping to elevate the health and well-being of our communities.
  • Reduce health disparities through programs or initiatives that impact health needs and reach a diverse or underserved population.
  • Serve our communities without discrimination against any individual or group based on race, creed, gender, age, sexual orientation or national origin.
  • Provide a measurable return on the investment using data provided by the funded organization.
  • Relay key messaging to a broad audience with a demonstrated level of visibility and positive brand exposure that is commensurate with the amount of sponsorship dollars committed.
  • Operate as a tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code. (Note: Other acceptable, tax-exempt organizations, such as under Section 501c(4) or 501c(6), may also be eligible.)

Organizations meeting the above guidelines may apply for a sponsorship from Spartanburg Regional. Applications must be submitted at a minimum of 60 days prior to any event. Only one application per organization will be reviewed per fiscal year, which runs from October to September. If your organization receives a sponsorship from Spartanburg Regional, it is not eligible for a second sponsorship within the same fiscal year. Prior support of an organization or event does not guarantee future funding.
